Periloux Peay AASP479A Expecting an A Anonymous 06/01/2025	If I could give him zero stars I would. He doesn't grade at all-good luck having more than one grade in by the time your final project is due! This makes it so hard to know how well you need to do on the project and adds extra stress. Class is so boring. I mean, I'm all for a boring class I can use to just do work in, but I mean this is TOO boring. He just talks constantly; he acts like he knows everything and he's better than everyone. The worst part-he doesn't follow the syllabus at ALL. Like, it's a joke. We were supposed to have 8 assignments and a final paper like the syllabus said. We've had two assignments and he turned the paper into a poster project that now each student is expected to pay $75+ for. (THAT would've been nice to know so I could've budgeted for it!!) Overall, if I could go back I would not have taken this class or him as a professor. Everyone in my class is stressing about the final project because he doesn't give you clarification or anything-he just expects you to read his mind. Do not take him or this class unless your degree depends on it. You're gonna hate everything about it. It's boring, it doesn't teach what the course description says/sounds like, and he doesn't care about this class or his students. I could end with an A+ or an F. This final project WILL be (basically) my entire grade. OH! Another thing...he doesn't respond to emails. At all. You could email him everyday saying your house is on fire and he genuinely wouldn't respond. Good luck if you have to take this course!
Periloux Peay AASP479A Expecting an A Anonymous 05/15/2025	Extremely slow grader and even poorer communication. Our canvas page wasn't up until maybe a week or so into class. Instructions on assignments were terribly unclear and likewise expectations. Our TA carried the course and was the only one that cared to provide us with useful information. Would emphatically recommend against taking this course unless it is absolutely necessary.
