Innovation and Commercialization for Graduate Students in AGNR
Introduces AGNR graduate students to University of Maryland and College of Agriculture and Natural Resources resources and initiatives for innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization of products and processes resulting from basic and applied research and development, and interaction with the private sector. Graduate students will learn about the University of Maryland's extensive network for innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialization including: Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (AIE), Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship in the Smith School of Business, Mtech in the School of Engineering, and the University's Office of Technology Commercialization. AGNR's Agriculture Innovation to Commercialization (AgI2C) initiative will be highlighted. Students will be expected to conduct a limited market survey and analyze results.
