Dr. Peer seems to be a nice person, but the class/teaching style is unfortunately extremely difficult to understand. I don't mind prerecorded lectures personally but it's difficult to keep up with the videos, and there's a lot of content that seems like she expects you to already know. The quizzes themselves are difficult, and I noticed that the "lecture" videos(one module had youtube videos instead) did not prepare you for what the quizzes asked for. During her in-person lectures, she seems uncertain with what she's teaching, and keeps bouncing between slides. She often remembers something or adds onto a slide after we've past it, so the constant flip-flopping makes it even more difficult to keep up with. On top of that, she also rambles on about her own experience with the material. This isn't necessarily bad but when I'm confused and trying to understand something, an unrelated story is not what I need. She teaches quickly, and I've found taking basic notes to be difficult. I regret signing up for this class but unfortunately there was only 1 professor and 1 class available. I would highly, highly, highly recommend avoiding. |
