Professor Puma is such an amazing and caring professor; she ensures all the students in her class understand the subjects and will help you with any assignments if you email her. In terms of AMST203, I recommend taking it. For two-gen eds, the work is pretty fun, the only downside is the weekly discussion posts and three projects which are pretty time-consuming. |

Professor Kim is great. I believe he is taking a job at UNC, but if you ever have a chance to take his class I highly recommend it. Weekly discussion board posts were main grading with an in class midterm of short responses. Also there was occasionally in class graded work. Final project was a research paper on topic of your choosing. Highly recommend |

Really chill professor and this class honestly taught me a lot I wasn't expecting to learn. Everything is done in groups and the work isn't difficult. He has weekly quizzes kahoot style but aren't bad. I think the topics in this class are incredibly important to learn and interesting overall. |

He's extremely organized, a quick grader, a really nice person, provides helpful feedback, and has a reasonable workload: the perfect combination for any gen-ed. |

I had Caroline during the Fall Semester of 2022 for AMST203. She was extremely nice and kind. She is very lenient if you ask for extensions and responds quickly. The class was easy but really interesting. There were 3 observations due each week based on the readings. There were 4 papers; 1 was the midterm the other was the final. If you do the work and attend class, you should get the grades you want. |

Although she isn't teaching the class I believe for spring of 2023. Kylee was the best! Super chill and was all about having the class be about the students. Super helpful, extended deadlines when needed, she was awesome!!! There are so many more things I could say about her, but if you end up taking a class and she is one of the professors BY ALL MEANS TAKE HER CLASS! |

Instructor Adams always give good advice on my essay. The two essays play an important role in the final grade. I got an A even though I got only 71 on one of the quizzes. |

Taking this class as a freshman connection student. We have classes once a week and it's been a month now. So far it's been good. I took this class expecting to learn about cultures and trends in America over time, but what we're actually learning is really different (ideologies and power systems but whatever). There's a LOT of readings and the articles are written in really academic styles. There are also occasional writing assignments (2 so far) and they're kind of confusing but it's manageable. He is really optimistic and lenient about things if you just let him know. There are no worksheet assignments yet and a lot of the scores come from reading annotations. Stay on his good side and you'll have a good year. I'll update again at the end of the semester. |

Nice, funny guy who's really smart and pretty flexible with stuff like due dates and deadlines. Clearly really invested in and enthusiastic about the material. Lots of reading and writing, but not hard to leave with a high grade if you keep up with everything. No in-class exams. |

I signed up for American Pop Culture to examine our culture's influence on the processes of media production and consumption (copied from the syllabus). The class started out in this way but quickly turned into propaganda for the leftist's point of view. The topic of race was politicized and we entered discussions on topics that were unrelated to the course material, such as social media censorship. This class should be called political science or race studies, not pop culture. We could have spent more time learning about music and the arts, thigs that are a part of mass culture compared to focusing on issues that divide us. Thankfully, this class was very easy so I am glad that I can take my A and leave. |

Just so terrible. Wish i could give negative stars. Shocks me that he has a job here. |

Doesn't make eye contact. His questions are either open ended and vague, or extremely specific. Either way they're usually impossible to answer properly. If you do attempt to answer, you'll never figure out whether you're answer was correct or incorrect as if you ask him, he will proceed to give a vague response that doesn't tell you whether you're answer was good or not. Quizzes tend to be very specific and the format is ridiculous. No partial credit is ever awarded either. Do not recommend. You will either fall asleep in class or regret decision to take this professor. |

Class does not have real content. Consists of 50 minutes of awkward silence and the occasional person answering the question with Hazim responding with "Say more" Does not deserve a star. |

Class consisted of general discussion where every answer was considered and professor never really gave us his opinion on the topic. Exams were extremely in depth and very difficult. If I could give him less than one star I would |

Would never make eye contact and always answered questions with, "What do you think?". Our classes consisted of vague answers while our exams were very specific and harshly graded. |

By far the worst professor I’ve ever had, and that’s putting it nicely. He doesn’t follow through with anything he says in the syllabus. Never gives feedback, even if asked for. Also wouldn’t give me an extension on an assignment on a day I was traveling despite notifying him a week in advance. This professor man es me hesitant to take another online class, ever. |
