Dr. Driscol is a great professor who really cares about her students. If you want to get additional information about the field of vetinary science, Dr. Driscol is the best professor, who can answer your questions or find someone who can. Overall the workload in this class is not hard with 4 assignments and weekly discussion assignments based off the lectures, which are given by guest lecturers. The class has alot of interesting content, but do not fret, you are not required to memorize the information. There are not alot of assignments, so if you do mess up or do poorly on one of them, your grades will suffer. Dr. Driscol understands that, so she provides extra credit opportunities. The workload in this class is not stressful with the due dates being extremely generous. Overall highly recommend this class.

She is great at her field and as a concept the class is interesting- in all honesty its very repetitive and some of the million guest lecturers were super boring. Class is an easy A

This course is a guarunteed A! I took this class for my major, but if you are looking for a class to boost your GPA, this is a great option. Dr. Driscoll is great, and her course is very interesting. I went to each lecture, but you can definitely get away with skipping. There are about 5 homework assignments and a group presentation, which are both graded easily. There is a midterm and a final, both of which are open notes. You could bring your laptop to the exams and look up any information that you needed. There are also guest lecturers for almost every class. Some are from the zoo, others from DNR, and many of them are highly qualified vets. There is a field trip to Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, as well. If you are an ENSP wildlife major, definitely take this course! But if you simply enjoy animals and nature, this is a great option.

This class was so easy. The exams are open notes/laptop/book, the final project is fun, homework is pretty easy. Lectures are BORING but definitely informative. There is even a feild trip (which was also boring, but it was neat to go on a college field trip).

Dr. Driscoll is an awesome teacher. I've learned so much in this class, and she is always eager to help people. She came and gave a talk for my professional fraternity, and will give you contact information for anyone in her field, and she knows a lot of people. All the guest lecturers were great, and the tests were fair and open book, note, and computer (but no internet). The field trips were fun and informative, and the class overall was so worth it.

The class is an easy A. She has guest speakers come in every week to lecture and there are 2 field trips with great opportunities for contacts in veterinarian medicine or wildlife biology. The midterm and final are open note, the group presentation should be taken seriously but is graded lightly and so is the term paper.

I absolutely loved this class! The teacher is a wildlife veterinarian from MD DNR and has taught this class for a while and knows what she is doing. There are many guest lecturers and field trips too. Tests are open EVERYTHING!!! She feels that as a vet or biologist, you aren't required to memorize everything, just know where to find the information. Very interesting topics presented in lecture! Take this class!
