Siyu is super patient and helpful! It's easy to get an A if you understand what you're doing in the lab. |

Siyu is nice and helpful in class. He was always walking around in the classroom and helping us. He organized the class efficiently and every student can finish the material on time. I never spent extra time after class, as he promised. I was worried when I found out I had to take a lab class, but this one has been pretty great. |

Siyu is fantastic! Even though he is strict about deadlines, he is ALWAYS walking around to help us in class. I can definitely finish the lab questions in class with his guidance. I don't need to spend a single minute after class and get an A eventually! |

The labs were sometimes tedious but not too difficult for a lab science. He is kind of a hard grader but will explain the problems throughout the class time. |

Very easy lab, partially because Gillian is so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Show up and you will get an A. |

The labs were sometimes tedious but never super hard, he can be a strict grader but he is very helpful if you ask him questions during the lab. As long as you go to lab every week and try your best you should end with an A. |

Vincent Ferrera has no idea what he is doing in the course. It's like somehow he accidentally landed this job at UMD with no intent of being helpful. Every time you ask him a question he avoids it to the top degree by answering your question with his own and answering his own proposed question. The lab is from 3:30 - 5:30, but it would be common to leave around 6 every time. Vincent Ferrera does not care about the course or it's content and will just return sassy comments when asked to be helpful. |

Don't take lab with him he grades so harshly. My friends who had the other TA (the women) had easier labs with fewer questions and basically got a 100 on each one. VINCENT does not do that. he takes off so many points. |

As long as you show up you should get a good grade. She goes over the lab in a mini lecture and then helps you with any questions you are stuck on |

Very easy lab, Gillian made sure to answer all questions well and gave us tips for most questions before we started the assignments. Was usually finished in half of the time given for the lab. |

Wonderful TA. She's so kind to the students and really cared about how we were doing in both her class and the main AOSC200 one. I had her as my TA for AOSC200 as well, and she was really generous with project grades and helpful with preparing for the final exam. |

She was awesome for lab, answering any questions about the lab and would often times discuss how it would be graded to make sure students would get the most points for the lab. |

Gillian was a great TA. I had her for lab and she was super helpful when I had questions about certain problems. It was her first time teaching and she did great! She also sent out review slides for the AOSC200 final to help anyone still taking the class who was studying which was super nice and helpful! |

Great guy. Very approachable and you could always ask questions on any and everything during the lab and he would always clarify in a way such that you ended up feeling confident in both the concepts and the answers you put down. If you're ever unsure, just ask and he's happy to help. |

Chris, Akarsh, Natalia and Jhayron are kind and considerate TAs who truly care about their students well-being. I took this lab asynchronously online with AOSC200, and I have no regrets. Taking a weather lab online cuts a significant amount of time out of your schedule compared to taking it in person during the year, as the online labs provide you with most of the measurements of weather and all you have to do is compute formulas and analyze what they mean. There are 12 labs total, with 4 per week if taken during the 3 week winter session. Your lowest graded lab is dropped. The TAs go above and beyond in emailing students back in a timely fashion, and the daily office hours are fruitful in checking your lab before submitting it. Overall, this is the lab you want to take if in need of a DSNL without having it strain your regular schedule. It’s a good amount of work, but entirely worth it. |

Natalia is an incredible TA. Lab with her was really easy to understand and she answered questions without directly giving us answers to the questions in the lab. The lab manual is recommended but you can find it online and print it out. She does a short lecture before starting the lab to explain the concepts and sends out google docs with tips on answering the questions. She is Colombian and has a little bit of an accent but you can still clearly understand everything she says |

One of the most pointless classes here, but an easy, and I mean EASY A if you need to take a lab science. This class consists of a weekly lab where you basically plot a bunch of graphs from data tables, very similar to a first or second grade math class. They make sure to give you a lot of data though, so the plotting takes the majority of the time of the lab block. |
