Jeffrey Henrikson AOSC247 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/22/2024	I took AOSC247 as an introductory course to python with no prior knowledge of programming at all. Jeff was the best professor I could've had to introduce myself to python. I was not interested in AOSC stuff but was able to understand what was going on and could apply it to other things. He is a very leniant grader, so I never had to worry about a number, but rather my understanding of the material. All lectures are posted online so if I missed a class, I could easily catch up. He offered outlines and sample code with videos to follow along as with as well. The final project had essentially no outline, so you could make it about anything you choose - I loved this because I was able to explore a topic that I was interested in. Highly recommend Jeff and 247 if you want to get down some skills for python and programming!!
Jeffrey Henrikson AOSC247 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/15/2024	Great teacher and flexible with deadlines. He is always available for questions and is very approachable. As long as you don't slack off its a fairly easy A but you do need to put in effort as its not completely free. A great class for people who want to learn coding in a slow paced environment without much pressure.
Jeffrey Henrikson AOSC247 Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/12/2024	Probably the most chill professor I’ve had. He’s super accommodating with due dates and will let you submit anything reasonably late as long as you ask. If you have pretty much any coding experience this class will be a breeze, and even if you don’t, as long as you go to class or watch the recordings you’ll get through most of the assignments pretty easily. Almost a guaranteed A as long as you turn everything in.
Jeffrey Henrikson AOSC247 Expecting an A Anonymous 04/29/2024	He's incredibly kind and helpful. If you go to class, he pretty much walks you through how to do the homework, but you still learn a lot. I was in three different Python-related courses this semester, and this was the class I learned the most from. Some of the lectures can get a little tedious, but he's an engaging instructor. As long as you do the work, you'll get an A. He cares a lot about students, and his office hours are incredibly helpful. I have a hard time going to office hours, but I found his really helpful. All around, absolutely recommend.

Take AOSC247 if you want to pick up some coding skills while not having to deal with all the pressure and deadlines of the normal comp sci classes. He teaches the concepts really well and is super nice. He would create zoom meetings and meet with you outside of class just to get you caught up and help you out on assignments. He also doesn't have a late penalty on his assignments as long as you talk to him and let him know. Great guy, one of the best professors I've had.
