Maureen Cropper AREC481 Anonymous 01/07/2025	Definitely my favorite ECON professor I have ever had at UMD. She is very kind and approachable and genuinely wants every student to succeed. She is always happy to help and is great about making sure students understand exactly what they need to know for homework assignments and exams. This class has a very small workload and is a nice break from other ECON classes. If you need an upper level elective you should absolutely take this class!

It's a shame the high averages have brought in people who only want an easy class. She is a treasure trove of knowledge and deep understanding. Deserves an enthusiastic audience!

Her class contains a lot of information, but she will explain each question patiently and try her best to make homework and exams not worth it. If you have participated in her review session and reviewed the mock exam, getting an A will not be a thing. It's my pleasure to attend her class before I graduate, and believe me, you will not regret taking her classes.
