Advanced Special Topics in Art; The Found Object and Mixed Media
Students must pay a $40.00 laboratory studio fee. This course explores ideas and concepts in relation to the found object, mixed media and the assemblage of unlike materials. Students will develop awareness and use of objects and materials, both natural and human-made, from their immediate surroundings. Historical and contemporary issues centered around the found object and mixed media will be examined.
