05/15/2013 		Her class is not challenging at all, and tends to be a bit boring during lectures. However, if you manage to pay attention, her lectures are definitely more helpful than the textbook. She is a fair grader, and a very nice and helpful professor. All in all, the course itself is the issue, not the professor, but she speaks quietly and has an accent, so it can be easy to lose focus in class.

05/14/2013 		The online homework was very helpful for this class. She does have an accent, but it's not a problem. She definitely cares about the students. The material can be a bit bland but it seems pretty useful in real life.

05/15/2012 		DO NOT LISTEN TO THE REVIEW BELOW. Finch is a great professor, one who doesn't bore your with stupid power points and who doesn't put you to sleep in class. To most people, including myself, financial statements and ledgers and what not are not fun, but the way Finch explains things make the stuff seem so "obvious". You will learn more from his class than you realize. His midterms were fair. If you attend class (he doesn't post anything online) and do all the suggested homework (or just listen in class when he goes over them), no one should do poorly. If you don't know how to study, that's another problem entirely. Finch's lectures generally consistent of going over the chapter for half a class, ask students for homework questions, and a lot of random facts in between about random movies that no one has ever seen before. For our final, the extra credit is a question about What About Bob. The only downside is that our final was ridiculously hard, but he warned us it would be so because our class averages were too high. Which I still don't understand why it's a bad thing... Take the class with him if you can!

12/17/2010 		Really great teacher because she cares about students learning not grades. She tries her best to get everyone an A (she was disappointed when the class average was a 88). Downside is her lectures are boring because she speaks softly. Still she makes sure everyone understands the material. Highly recommend taking bmgt221h over bmgt221.
