Expecting an A

This class was actually useless. I didn't really learn anything or even remember anything... As for the professor, he sucks. During the course the quizzes would have questions that were not mentioned in the reading or material he gave us. I emailed him and it took him awhile to answer. He eventually offered extra credit because of other people who said something but I'm not even sure if he applied it at the end of the course? There was nothing on canvas and he would not answer a single email about it. When grades came out he did it wrong too. An A- was put instead of an A and I emailed him about this and asked about the extra credit but he never answered, but did change my grade on testudo. I think its extremely annoying to completely ignore all my emails. The course itself is not too hard to get an A but if you mess up more than 1 quiz you are screwed. Originally I wanted to take him for 310 but now I am so grateful I didn't get him because I can't imagine dealing with him for the whole semester.

This is a fully virtual class that you'd think would be an easy A but that's not necessarily the case. The course is very short (5 weeks long) and each week you do timed homeworks and quizzes on canvas. The homeworks aren't too bad as you get 3 attempts but the quizzes aren't great since you only get 1 attempt. To get an A, you do have to put a decent amount of effort, as messing up more than 1 quiz lowers your grade by a lot. I also felt like some of the quizzes weren't really accurate to what was in the modules and powerpoints. TLDR: Pros: Fully virtual with no classes, only 5 weeks long. Cons: Not many assignments, all assignments are timed, messing up 1 assignment greatly impacts your grade, quizzes sometimes don't fully reflect the material being covered.

The course has the most annoying busy work jam-packed into 5 weeks. By the time he grades the first assignments, you're already almost halfway through the course and can't fix mistakes because most assignments are already turned in. Expect to write 4000+ words in less than 5 weeks if you take this course.
