Very great professor. He was completely new to Smith but he was very outgoing and made class engaging. |

Easy class, she makes 50 minutes a week feel like 3 hours |

Lecture attendance is mandatory as it is worth 50pts of participation, but the assignments are generally very easy, kind of like busy work. Considering students that take this class are business majors, you should already have a resume and LinkedIn (almost) ready. This class is an easy A+. But no electronics so you can't do other work. The lectures sort of feel like a waste of 50 mins since you might know a lot of the info already but on some days the lecture was actually very informative. Although this professor receives a lot of negative feedback, she is very to-the-point and her work isn't hard. Honestly I think she's fine, did go up to her about a mistake she made with my grade, and she was apologetic and nice about it. I see a lot of people talking about how long grades take but that's the TA's job... not the professor necessarily. You just gotta be proactive. Good luck! |

Very nice person, but was okay as a professor. There was a lot of tedious work to do that felt a bit unnecessary. Her grading was a bit unnecessarily harsh - she would give guidelines/a checklist in an assignment, but then would grade it based upon a separate rubric, not the checklist that she gave us - it was annoying and I always had to double check that my work fit both things. The given online quizzes (~3 questions based upon a slideshow) always had one question that wasn't actually given in the slideshow. I put in a lot of effort to this course, and she certainly rewards attention to detail and going the extra mile which I appreciated. If reviews are similar for other professors, then I'm sure the problem is with the course model and not the professors (I wouldn't be surprised if it is). Obviously it's a 1-credit course so it won't be super hard - this is just a class that I found I wanted to get through. |

This class is easy so that's why I would give it this high of a rating, however, the lectures were very dull and I wouldn't say I liked her teaching style. With that being said, the content can be pretty helpful when applying to jobs/internships, but I'm sure the content is the same with all the other teachers. Attendance is required but she was understanding if you missed a class due to illness. The TA was very helpful but as I said, she is not the best teacher and I hated participating in class. |

Easy A but a waste of 50 minutes. Like many other teachers I have heard for this class, she often brings up where she works and makes it seem like a personality trait. Additionally, assignments are not graded until the end of the semester. Take another professor if you can |

Super nice and chill. Easy A. Genuinely wants the best for his students. This is the type of class where you get out what you put in. |

One of the coldest, most stuck up professors I have. Avoid her at all costs - she teaches the material fine, but all communication is done through the TA and her talking style is degrading and condescending. |

Worst class I’ve taken and the only class I haven’t gotten an A in. Class is a huge waste of time, you don’t learn anything useful. Attendance is required, but even if you go to all of the classes you’ll end up losing about 20% for no reason |
