BMGT478L
Special Topics in Supply Chain Management; AI Agents for Supply Chain Problem-Solving
Prerequisite is BMGT372 This course trains the skills employers are already asking for: fluency in applying AI tools to real supply chain problems. Students use an AI-powered analytical assistant as a working tool to apply supply chain management frameworks and KPIs, cleaning and analyzing operational data, building dashboards, diagnosing bottlenecks, forecasting demand, and designing multi-step AI agents that automate portions of a supply chain workflow practicing how to direct, verify, and correct AI output with the ri gor expected of a working analyst. The course builds directly on BMGT372, applying its forecasting, logistics & warehousing, inventory, and sourcing concepts to advanced, AI-assisted scenarios rather than reintroducing them. Select chapters of Sanders' Supply Chain Management: A Global Perspective serve as a reference text for deepening that applied work.
