Biology of Insects
Prerequisite: BSCI160 and BSCI161; or BSCI106; or permission of CMNS-Entomology department. An overview of the biology, evolution and diversity of insects and their relatives. Insect morphology, physiology, behavior and ecology; the impact of insects on humanity and the management of pest insect populations; assembly of an insect collection is required. (Sponsoring Dept.: ENTM). Specialization Areas: GENB and ECEV. Students must pay a $40.00 laboratory materials fee.
