Albert Kyle BUFN726 Expecting an A Anonymous 09/04/2025	Amazing Amazing Professor! One of the best in Smith. His classes focus more on critical thinking as he gives you case studies to read and answer the given questions. He discusses the whole case in the next class where you have to answer his questions or ask questions. I really enjoyed the level of intellect he brings in the class. Although he might bore some students out because he's not as active as other teachers might be. However, If you're someone who likes to read cases and discuss them later on, look no further.
Albert Kyle BUFN726 Expecting a B+ Payanak 05/07/2025	Interesting enough class if you're willing to read a whole bunch of material the professor assigns for homework. The thing is though, that is really all you have to do. You just have to answer questions about the readings every week with there being a final exam at the end. The final isn't too difficult as long as you can pay attention in class. My only gripes with this class is the weird grading structure. While not inherently a bad structure, sometimes I really did not feel like I knew what the difference between a 5 or 6 out of 10 grade was (trust me, these are good scores). The extra credit questions are basically required in order to get an A in the class - with there being a better grade if you complete them on time. Overall, good class that does teach about very influential investment philosophies.
