Jason Kuo CINE337 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/10/2024	Great professor! Every week in class we would watch a film then have a 10ish minute discussion about it. The films themselves were interesting (imo) as well. Professor Kuo unfortunately got sick about halfway through the semester, but he still went out of his way to continue communication with students (which he did definitely did not have to do). There were only four total assignments, with the final being a ten-page paper (but the previous assignments build up to this so it is not too much work to do if you give yourself the time to do it). Lenient grader as well. Overall he's definitely a very relaxed and sweet professor, I would highly recommend taking a class with him!
Jason Kuo CINE337 Expecting an A Anonymous 11/09/2023	I don't think I learned much in this course, but I got to watch good movies, so who am I to complain? Professor Kuo does not do any actual teaching, there is no lecture. We watch a movie in every class and have a 5-minute discussion afterward. There are 4 papers that are not difficult and one final exam in class. This class is just an excuse to watch some really good movies.
