William Gasarch CMSC752 Expecting an A Anonymous 07/12/2025	Bill is... eccentric to say the least. His class is definitely best enjoyed in person. He has some... interesting topics every once in a while, but is a very good lecturer and quite a nice guy who is willing to listen to you and your issues when you are having any problems in life or in the class. For this class, he is quite relaxed on grading, and for any questions that everyone has issues with, he lets you redo them.
William Gasarch CMSC752 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/17/2025	Probably the most useless class I have ever taken at this university, and I loved it. It's math for the hell of it, what more do you want? Dr. Gasarch is quite unhinged in grad courses, so if that's not your thing, then don't take him. Also, he sort of flies through the slides but I found his whiteboard lectures to be more well-paced.
