Advanced Topics in Computer Systems; Cryptography and Hostile Governments

The course is a seminar structured around a course project and student led paper presentations on student selected topics including private information retrieval, blind signatures, cryptocurrency/blockchains, zero-knowledge proofs and zkSNARKs, mixnets, and multi-party computation. This course is intended for computer science graduate students and advanced undergraduates with an interest in the area. Undergrads should have taken a previous security or cryptography class.
