Melissa Lucas COMM107B Expecting an A Anonymous 12/29/2025	The most sweetest teacher! It was the first day of lecture and she told everyone that they are most likely going to receive an A as long as they do their work. We had speaker notes for every presentation, she gives great feedback, and we got to leave early most lectures. It is easy to get an A and a little more harder to get an A+, definitely achievable though!

She is honest but also encouraging so you get real feedback on what your doing wrong, and have the confidence to fix it. Highly recommend this class, with this professor.
Melissa Lucas COMM107B Expecting an A Anonymous 12/13/2025	Very nice professor, she really cares about your learning. There were quite a few days when we got out of class early as well, or didn't have to go to class, especially around midterms and finals, which is very thoughtful. As long as you try your best in this class, you will get an A. The group project is kinda dependent on who you get grouped with. If you get bad teammates, you might have to do a lot of the work, but there is a peer evaluation, so you can explain all that while evaluating your groupmates, and it will impact their final grade. This review is for Spring 2025.
Christine Schaaf COMM107B Expecting an A Anonymous 11/26/2024	Super great prof. She is always there to help, and I didn't feel scared going to her with questions. I will say if you are not a good presenter, def practice and memorize. Practicing my presentations helped me sooo much. Her class truly made me a better public speaker and better at making slideshows. One of my favorite profs I have had.

Not a hard grader at all and is always looking to help students in their presentations. She lets us out early and gives plenty of days to work on our presentations. Highly recommend!

She not only is a wonderful person but she is so knowledgeable on all things business and marketing, and is someone to look up to. If you have the opportunity to take her course and get to know her, take it!

She is a great teacher who gives really helpful feedback. I feel like she has actually helped me improve as a presenter. As long as she sees that you are putting in effort, you will get an A. Dr. Lucas is a great professor and I definitely recommend her!

Melissa Lucas COMM107B Expecting an A Anonymous 12/16/2021	Dr. Lucas is down to earth and teaches you exactly how to succeed in her class. If you put in the effort, there is no way to end the semester below an A. I Love her and the class, highly recommended.
