Special Topics in Health Communication; Health Communication Campaigns

This course is restricted to Departmental Honors students only. Health Communication Campaigns deals with the design, implementation, and evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention (HPDP) programs. The primary goal of this course is to provide a better understanding of the role and importance of previous theory and research in HPDP campaigns. This course will have a special focus on the interplay between health campaign messages, mass communication channels, interpersonal communication, and social influence.
