Very cool dude just the class was boring to me. The lectures were interesting enough, but the topic wasn't super interesting to me. It was a lack of interest in my part, but Tim is very cool and understanding of everything. If sustainability is your thing you'll enjoy this class. |

Tim has absolutely not concept of the amount of work that should be in a 1 credit class. Out of my entire schedule, I've done the most work for this class despite my other classes being 3 or 4 credits. There are multiple large essays that are expected as well as weekly discussion posts. There are also ridiculous field trip requirements and we're forced to dig through trash. Every assignment is also graded to the standard of a 400 level 4 credit class. Doesn't feel like a 100 level 1 credit class at all. Complete waste of time. |

Great dude with an amazing personality. If you are in ETE, you will definitely love this man. My main problem with him were the assignments. I didn't want to put much effort into a 1 credit class, and the LCA project made me question my sanity. The bright side is that he is not the worst grader so it'll be an easy A+ but he still expects a lot of effort. Also, we had to take notes during lectures for participation but never actually used them. bruh moment. If you are put in ETE, transfer out anyway just because Chestertown Hall feels like jail time. But if you decide to stick around, you'll likely be very satisfied with Tim |

Tim was one of my favorite professors this semester. He really made the transition from high school to college more bearable and I could not ask for a better program director. During the course, he does a fantastic job of informing his students about the three pillars of sustainability, and, for a one-credit course, the workload is very reasonable. There are no pointless assignments and the life cycle project is broken into several parts to make it more manageable. He is not a harsh grader. If you put in the effort, you'll have no problem finishing with an A. On top of that, there aren't any exams or quizzes either. Outside of the classroom, Tim is a wonderful person. He takes time out of his day to make sure all of his students are doing okay and is always available to talk to. If you got accepted into ETE, just know, you'll have a phenomenal professor and director. |

Timothy Knight was the most amazing professor I've had this semester. Not only does he do a great job explaining concepts and offering help outside the classroom, but also shows that he is always there for the students. At the beginning of the class, he always asks how we are feeling and lets us know of all the mental health resources available on campus. I even met with him individually during office hours, and he offered me a free apple scone. He's created such a safe and loving environment and I can't wait to learn more with him next semester. |

Tim is an awesome human being and also a great professor too. If you’re a prospective student admitted to Scholars and put in ETE, know that you couldn’t have gotten a better program director. Tim really cares about each of his students and about sustainability, and that makes for a good experience. This class doesn’t have any quizzes or exams; its major components are projects, discussion posts, and one field trip that you pick from many options offered throughout the semester. |
