Michael Cummings DATA698 Anonymous 07/25/2021	He practically has nothing to teach more than a 5 min pre-recorded lecture per week. Deliberately avoids interactive communications with students that makes him an extremely ineffective and inefficient instructor. IRONY is, in this course, he suggests communication is key whereas himself setup the worst example of a communicator one can imagine. Fails to articulate the quality of work he expects from students, leaving it to your assumption. And then comes back with a page long of feedback comments that are often demeaning. I doubt you can learn anything from this course with such a horrible professor!!! To attend this kind of a lecture format after registering for an in-class graduate program, I feel cheated. This course resembles poor standards and controls on UMD's part, comparable with cheap online courses available on internet based learning platforms.
