Professor sometimes rush through the material, but he genuinely put an emphasis on his lectures. Indeed, he is a good professor for game theory course. Slides are thorough and enough to understand the material. The class is easy because there is not a lot of homework. 4 homework's set and he drops the lowest homework. He gave generous curve at the end.

nice guy, but lectures are the equivalent of getting your teeth pulled without novocane. i would strongly suggest sleeping before the class or else you will find it difficult to stay awake with this appetizing bedtime story singing you to sleep. exams are like the practice (avaliable on his website), so i would advise getting super comfortable with that. he will take off small fractions off your work for minor things so be diligent about checking your work. there's a guy on youtube (william spaniel) who uploads videos on game theory, i thought that helped flush out things dr vincent skims over or things i didn't fully understand. textbook is pretty useless- it gives largely examples and not explanations.

He did not hold any review for exams. I would not recommend him to anyone. Hard class to survive.

Do not take his class. Final exam is 45% on grade which contains hard part of the course. When material gets harder, he tends to rush through the material.

Decent prof, who is very knowledgable about the subject. Nice, funny guy too. Only critique is that, when the subject material gets a bit more difficult, he sometimes does not go over the concepts as thoroughly as he should. But on the whole, he's pretty good at explaining things. There's a nice curve at the end.

I didn't find the lectures too engaging but his slides explain the material pretty well. Never touched the textbook. Gave a generous curve at the end of the class.

His lectures do not correlate with his problem sets. It is impossible to get 100% on the problem sets; either you get 5/6 and get an 83% for the homework section or 6/6 which adds on extra credit so you end up with 120% for the problem sets. While this could be nice if you get them all done, he is very strict with deadlines and how much work you show for the problems (so one missed problem set could make a difference of 6% in your final grade). His exams were extremely difficult as well but he provided a large curve to make up for the fact that the averages on the exams were in the 60s. However, he did provide previous exams and quizzes for practice. If you can take game theory with a different professor instead, do that.

Very responsive to emails. Exams are easy if you do the optional homework. All lectures were prerecorded and async. Wasn't too much of a time commitment each week. The final grade was only 3 exam grades.

Ferda's class revolves heavily on her lectures. Many of her exam questions are modifications of homework or lecture examples. If you attend lecture, you can easily pass. People who usually have problems with her class typically don't attend lecture. When I took the class, the 40-person class decreased to roughly 10 regular lecture attendees (most of them B.S. Econ students). She can be terse, especially when approaching her for re-grades, but is more than willing to schedule office hours with you to help you understand the material.

Boring professor that constantly confused herself on the topic throughout lectures. Never graded fairly and gave random quizzes on purpose because people never showed up to class. Took the homeworks and quizzes way too seriously instead of focusing on connecting with students and making the topic more enjoyable for them. Ruined one of my favorite economics topics for me
