Andrew Sweeting ECON461 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/17/2024	He’s just a really dry lecturer and can’t really explain most concepts that clearly. The class content would be interesting, in theory, but he makes it really dry. The good news is that the exams are pretty reasonable and not hard to do well on. The class starts out math heavy and then becomes more focused on qualitative analysis, so there’s stuff for everyone depending on your strengths. Problem sets are time consuming, but not too difficult. Prof Sweeting is a nice guy and won't make things more difficult than they need to be. Everything you see on an exam is something like you've seen in class (no curveballs). So he's good in that way -- he's just not a very engaging lecturer/explainer of concepts.
