Prerequisite: ECON602 and ECON604; or permission of BSOS-Economics department. Study of political determinants of macroeconomic outcomes. Time inconsistency in monetary and fiscal policy, political business cycles. Political models of redistribution, delay in reform, transition, growth, and international policymaking.
