Selected Topics in Teacher Education; Perspectives in Science
Students will explore how philosophical and historical perspectives can deepen our understanding of science. Students will also consider how philosophy and history can be integrated effectively into science classrooms, both to teach concepts and to elucidate processes of inquiry , research, and discovery. Students will practice doing science and considering how what they experience as scientists applies to classroom science teaching.
