Very straight forward teacher. Class is split into 4 25% categories. HW, Midterm, Project, Final. If you put in a decent amount of effort an A is very achievable. He states in the beginning of the semester that he would give out all A's if he could. If you want to do well in this class, you can. There is no curve and the average on our midterm was a 93%. Class can be a bit boring but everything is in the slides and textbook. |

I thought Lovell was a great teacher. He tells you what you need to know for his exams and he gets right to the point with the material. He is a fair grader and applies a generous curve. He is a nice, funny guy and I was never bored or confused in his class. |

Great guy! I really liked him as a person and as a professor. One of the few professors I have come across that really cares for the students. He actually wants to give out A's. All he cares to see is that you learned the material. He does not try tricking you on the exams. Final is harder than midterm so be aware. Good luck! |

A decent professor but the material was read word for word from the slides, which became boring after the first lecture. Dr. Ayyub is a very fair grader...the final was much more difficult than the mid-term |

Lecture was pretty useful but he really just reads off the slides... so you stop going after awhile. Do not let up after the midterm, the final is much harder. Midterm everyone gets A's on, and is really straightforward and easy. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! ITS WORTH IT! Keep up with the homework, makes cramming not as harsh. Good class, highly recommend this teacher. |
