Innovations in Materials and Technologies for Future Civil Infrastructure

The future of civil infrastructure depends on novel materials that are stronger, smarter, and more sustainable, as well as new construction technologies that are faster, more reliable, and less labor-intensive. This course explores the latest breakthroughs in civil engineering materials and technologies. Students will explore how cutting-edge materials and construction technologies are transforming the civil engineering practice. Through lectures, assignments, hands-on demonstrations, and projects, students gain the skills to innovate, design, and implement next-generation materials and technologies that help to tackle the urgent challenges in sustainable and digital civil infrastructure.
