01/12/2025 		Worst experience of all times. Horrible grader, all exams are MCQs and/or True/False. No curving or feedback about performance. Instructor only grades less than 40% of assignments and leave major parts for TA. Did skip most important topics at the end. DO NOT TAKE CLASS ENEE662 with this instructor.

12/31/2024 		I would give this professor a zero star if applicable. This is my worst experience at UMD, and I wonder how this instructor is still teaching courses and has never learned the basics of proper instructional practice. He is very unorganized; he spent more than half of the semester covering two or three topics and just skimmed through advanced course materials over the other half. He does not hold in-person office hours. Homework is never relatable to what he teaches and is extremely difficult. He does not grade most of the assignments, and the TA ended up grading about 60% of the submissions. He never reviewed term project submissions. His exams are the worst of all. All are designed poorly and focused on specific parts of the course. Exams are designed as either true/false or multiple-choice questions, and there is no partial credit. Although the course content is very rich, he didn't bother asking about most of the topics and just repeated the same poor exam style. He takes forever to reply to emails and provide graded exams. His style of teaching is somewhat acceptable; however, he grades horribly and does not provide any feedback about grade scale, thresholds, or even curve statistics. He also does not answer all questions if asked. I worked very hard for this course. I attended all lectures and worked very hard on the term project. I solved all homework and got very good grades on them (mostly 90-95%), the same for the project. However, I still got a B+, and I believe this is due to exams and particularly his grading. DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE IF INSTRUCTED BY PROF. MARTINS!!
