ENEE719D Expecting an A Anonymous 01/13/2026 |
The teaching style and way that the course was run were a bit unusual: 1) 80% of final grades were group projects 2) Group sizes were 2-5 people and group assignments did not change with group size 3) Many days we showed up for lecture and were told it would be office hours for group projects instead of lecture 4) Grad students in ENEE719D had the exact same amount of work as undergrad students in ENEE419D 5) Instructions for assignments were at times vague 6) Grading is very easy to the point that I lost motivation to try hard towards the end of the semester In spite of never having had a class run this way before and feeling like I learned almost nothing in the few lectures that actually took place, I walked away feeling like I learned a lot from working on vaguely defined group projects and am happy that I took the class. |
