In this class we will examine a range of speculative narratives about AI, using our reading and viewing of fictional texts as a springboard to think through the intersection of politics and technology in the present. We will focus our attention on real and imagined relationship of AI to questions of sexuality, gender, labor, racial justice, and environmental justice.
