Expecting an A

Macintosh is a hero. Our professor for this course dropped out after a couple of weeks, so he took it over. He's actually hilarious and very entertaining, whether he realizes it or not. I learned a lot. Sometimes his teaching style felt a bit high school, but since he's used to teaching ENGL 101, I'll let it slide.

I didn't expect an A in this class, but it turns out that Mallios is one of those professors who takes improvement into consideration and (probably) weighs paper writing higher than he suggests. Prof. Mallios loves the material and appreciates any and all input/perspective. He is very respectful of students. The readings were very manageable for a 400 level course. Usually around 100 pages a week. I found many of the books boring, but he covered classics (Great Gatsby, In Our Time, etc.) Wasn't thrilled about the class, but I'd recommend Prof. Mallios.
