Just try to tell me this guy isn't damn perfect--he made a class on Kendrick Lamar!!! I so, so wish I could take Prof. Scott for a creative writing workshop, too. Has some absolutely brilliant stuff in his head, and also really funny (says some wild out of pocket stuff sometimes. "Show of hands: how many of you cheat on your partners" ðŸ˜.) Helped me see what's cool about fiction / analysis because he keeps it real. The syllabus was organized, and was updated right away when he had to change it (snow days). He gives feedback on assignments near-immediately (a few times I submitted at 12am, he replied at 2am), and what he says is such an immense help not just for the class but for English as a whole. Organized, casual but passionate, insightful. No wrong opinions in the world except Prof. Scott's bad reviews, if you're not taking him then take him, if you don't have the schedule space then drop something. Spectacular teacher. He did spoil Sinners for no reason though. If a popular movie drops then watch it before next class with him 💀 |
