Gerard Holmes ENGL497 Expecting an A Anonymous 05/11/2025	He is really nice, but it's really hard to stay focused in class because it's just discussion-based and not always necessary. That being said, he knew this and didn't make us meet 3 days a week hardly ever. Really never on Fridays. The assignments are all super helpful for career development and not a ton of work besides interviewing a professional on your own time. Definitely shouldn't be a 400 level class; It really got put on the back burner for me. It's really interesting if you haven't started looking into career stuff, but if you have you won't really learn anything new.
Rebecca Holden ENGL497 Expecting an A Anonymous 01/13/2025	She made this class very interactive and fun. She creates a great classroom atmosphere and encourages class friendships. Such a sweet person and a caring professor. The final for the class is a career event which you get to help plan. Such a fun class for relatively boring material. Easy overall.
Blake Wilder ENGL497 Expecting an A Anonymous 12/09/2023	Decent enough professor, but you can tell he's all over the place. He also said, verbatim, that "he forgot about this class all the time". He's incredibly nitpicky, and will take it out on the attendance/participation grade based on your "preparedness". Also took extremely long to get feedback and grades out so take with that what you will. Only take this class if you like professors with a superiority complex.
