Liangbing Hu ENMA411 Anonymous 12/23/2022	Very chill class, not many assignments, just a few easy homeworks, one final and a midterm presentation. Lectures were interesting but sometimes he would repeat a lot of the content from the previous lecture. Make sure your presentation is the best that it can be in terms of visuals and organization because he looks at those a lot. The final is also a fuck ton of questions so I agree with the other reviewer that you should work quick. The class might seem easy going up to the final but the final and midterm presentation together can easily get you a B instead of the A you might have been expecting from such a chill class
Liangbing Hu ENMA411 Expecting an A- thatfruitfly 01/13/2022	This class was great. I am actually a different engineering major but took this class as an out of major elective. It was super interesting every day, although sometimes he would repeat certain topics to make sure we understood them. We just had a long reading, 3 homeworks that we did on paper, and 1 big group project in the middle, but like the ENES100 review said, he was most concerned that we could come up with a solid pitch and clearly present information and understand the concepts. I liked talking to him after class and will probably ask him for career advice at some point. I was worried about the final but as long as you go to class and note what he says is important and attempt to at least semi-understand the concepts you will be good on the final (dont be scared its worth 50% of the grade just work quickly!). It ended up being not that much time investment for a LOT of learning. 10/10 would recommend. Beware the first month is semi conductor physics (and the reading) and that is a little bit tricky conceptually but if you read it once or twice and go to class youll be fine. Also he didnt post any grades on canvas but i dont think anyone really cared lol
