This course will focus on the impact of urban pests on our everyday lives. This course will use research-based primary-literature to examine the biology and behavior as well the ecology and economic impact of these pests. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a working knowledge of these pests in urban landscape. The class will provide the best practices for control including IPM. We will look at holistic approaches and the impact of global warming on the urban landscape.
