Intro to GIS for Public Health

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) are vital tools with deep utility for all manner of public health work and research. From tracking disease spread to identifying environmental causes of health disparities, GIS is essential in tackling the most pressing public health concerns. In this course students will learn the fundamental theoretical concepts of GIS and practical skills they can start applying to their research right away to create dynamic maps.
