Special Topics in Documentary, Animation, Experimental Cinema, and Other Visual Media; Digital Video Production

An introduction to basic video production using digital tools. Students will learn principles of pre-production, production, and post-production. Aesthetics, theory, and practical aspects will be examined in the context of short film production. The fundamentals of developing a screenplay, storyboard, cinematography, lighting, sound design, and editing will be discussed and explored. This course counts as an elective toward the major in Film Studies.
