In class he is a very nice professor but he is a very difficult grader and it catches you off guard. That being said, it is nice to have a professor push you to be better. He does tend to have very specific expectations for assignments that at times can be a bit subjective or hard to understand if you don't talk to him about your project/topic privately. You do have to go to class. |

Class is so unorganized, and he expects us to complete assignments on material that he didn't have time to cover in class which is not ideal |

Dr. Hurtado is a great professor. He is lenient and understanding. He does expect in-class participation and can give extra credit for it. He also provides great in-depth feedback on assignments. |

Dr. Hurtado is the sweetest man ever!!! So understanding, enthusiastic, and helpful. He's just a very boring lecturer. I fell asleep in class a lot because he was so dry. I would recommend him, just prepare to be bored. |
