The course itself was easy, BUT in GEOG170 there was only I think six or seven grades the whole semester, so not a ton of grades to either increase or maintain a high grade. Professor Marks, is a very nice person who does know a lot about the subject, but often times she responds to email and the class can be very boring. Overall it was a easy course in terms of work load and most of the content.

Went to in-person class a total of 3 times all semester, including exams, and pulled an A-. With a few weeks left in the semester he added clickers, which was really annoying because it meant I had to start going to class on Zoom. His lecturing is very hard to understand because of his accent, which is admittedly not his fault, but it warrants mentioning. His saving grace is his homeworks and exams are fairly easy and his grading scale is generous, an 85-89 was an A-. Overall, not too upset with an A- considering how little effort I put into this class.

Class is very easy, but can be boring at times. He is super nice and understanding, but his accent is a little hard to understand at times (especially with a mask). Lectures are him teaching off of slides which are all posted online anyway.

Chill guy, attendance not required and ppts online, but its worth showing up since if you come to class and pay attention you will basically never need to study. Lots of midterms, but all the tests are fair and if you pay attention you'll do well. Would take again.
