Recent Advances in Geology; Principles of Biogeochemistry

An introduction to the basic principles of biogeochemistry including aspects of organic geochemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, global geochemical cycles, and the origin of life and paleoenvironmental evolution. This course is co-listed with GEOL436, but for graduate credit, a research or literature review paper and related presentation are due by the end of the semester.
