Allison Berland GVPT459F Expecting an A Anonymous 05/13/2025	Professor Berland is one of the most impactful instructors I’ve had at UMD. While her classes aren’t the most difficult, the knowledge and insight I gained, especially about India, were more valuable than any other GVPT course I’ve taken, and truly, this is the whole point of college. Her passion for teaching and genuine care for students make the class engaging without being overwhelming. Sometimes, people take advantage of this, so participate and pay attention; it's worth it! Highly recommend for anyone interested in the subject or just looking to learn from a great professor!
Allison Berland GVPT459F Expecting an A+ Anonymous 05/11/2023	Super super sweet professor who's passionate about what she teaches and is open to further discussion and learning (on her part!). Barely any assignments - a couple of quizzes (short answer) and essays, all spaced out over the semester. A good class and a great professor!
