Jessica Wertz HESP415 Expecting an A- Anonymous 02/12/2026	This was my favorite course in all four years! Professor Wertz is incredibly knowledgeable and is genuinely passionate about what she teaches. She is fair and truly wants everyone to succeed. 10/10 would recommend!
Fathima Zuhurudeen HESP415 Anonymous 05/19/2024	she has extremely high expectations for assignments she does not give solid rubrics on. midterm average was a 73 until a 10 point curve was implemented. do not take a class with her unless you want to tank your gpa
Eliza Thompson HESP415 Expecting an A- Anonymous 12/08/2020	I had Eliza for 400 (Spring 20) and 415 (Fall 20). I liked her for both classes. She is pretty well organized and definitely knows a lot about her field. She adapted really well to student feedback midsemester (transitioning from asynchro to synchro + recording lectures) and brought in some guest lecturers, which was cool. She can feel a little brusque or rude sometimes (both face to face/Zoom or over email) but she does come out and say directly that she knows she can be blunt. Exams generally quite fair and reasonable and she gives a solid study guide.
