Michael Ross HIST134S Expecting an A Anonymous 02/05/2026	i liked it a lot! very engaging to listen to, even though he will go on historical context tangents. outside of class, we had 2 book quizzes (one of which was a book dr. ross wrote), and those were chill because we got the questions weeks beforehand. the books themselves were kind of long, but i will say that dr. ross' book was actually the more interesting to read. my ta was very sweet and graded everything fairly. i would definitely say to try participating at least once every discussion. for the midterm exam, she even wrote us little, personalized notes at the end, which i thought was the cutest. i'd take this class again, for sure.
Michael Ross HIST134S Expecting an A+ Anonymous 11/14/2023	Professor Ross makes all of the information super interesting. He always comes to class prepared, and there are no extra assignments. The midterm and final are a lot of studying, but all of the information is taught directly in the class with no surprises. I would highly recommend this class with Professor Ross
