I find her lectures to be fine personally, her class and the content are pretty interesting. There are only 4 grades as many of history classes are. She's just kind of a mean lady and is the harshest grader I have come across in my time here. She is the first history professor who I have come across who didn't find any interpretation other than hers to be valid. On top of this, her test and essay questions are unclear. The lack of clarity assumes the question could be answered in a few ways...but this isn't the case, she wants her opinions regurgitated and that isn't the point of upper level history classes, in order for it not to be plagiarism you have to either add something to it or comment on it. SURVIVAL GUIDE: vocab words and policy are the only thing worthwhile to study other than readings.

I see a lot of negative reviews about Professor Rozenblit but I believe those are overdone. She expects a lot out of her students but if you attend lectures, take notes, you will do well. She's very no nonsense but cares about her students and I found her teaching style refreshing. She is passionate about the subject. If you put in some effort, you will leave her class with a much more informed outlook on the Holocaust.

I do not recommend this teacher. She goes on rants and gives you too much information to ever learn for a written essay exam and then tests you on random things. She grades so harshly its impossible to pass.
