Andy Lazris HIST338O Expecting an A Anonymous 03/20/2026	I took HIST338O this past winter; it was an incredibly enlightening course! It provided me with valuable knowledge to have as a premed about the history of our medical system. Dr. Lazris is very kind and wants everyone to succeed in this class. If you put in a good effort, you will almost certainly get an A. He is also passionate and knowledgeable about the course topic, which makes lectures and conversations with him about the course content interesting and engaging. I also felt that the sources that we were assigned to read were very helpful for providing more detailed information and context, which supported the lecture content well. Overall, the workload was very manageable, especially since Dr. Lazris doesn't expect you to read every single source. We only had to post to a discussion board at the end of each week (one post and one reply) and complete one longer paper (about 7-10 pages). I'd definitely recommend this class for those interested in the topic, especially if you're pre-med!
