Peter Wien HIST339L Expecting a B+ Anonymous 12/19/2022	Professor Wein is a pretty good professor and is knowledgeable about the topics relating to the Middle East but can really go on confusing tangents sometimes, the workload was pretty easy just read the text for that days lecture and attend the class and finish the small reading journals assigned for that week plus the small projects due here and there you'll have a good grade he can be tough sometimes on the grading but is always fair. The only reason he doesn't get a 5 star from me is the amount of reading that's required for this course got to be a bit to much for me at times especially when you're told to read 200+ pages in a week that may not be a deal breaker for most but I struggled with paying attention to the verbose books we would be assigned weekly and it would take me hours to get through them. Overall if you need to take a history class Wien is a pretty decent pick.
