Jeremy Simmons HIST339R Anonymous 08/31/2023	One of the best to ever teach at UMD. He has a plainly viewable passion for history, and emphasizes the importance of viewing Ancient history as a literary study as opposed to a factual record of what actually happened. In addition, he has the ability to go super in-depth for students with strong backgrounds in the subject while also being capable of explain rather abstract concepts clearly and concisely to those who need further explanations.
Jeremy Simmons HIST339R Expecting an A- Anonymous 01/05/2023	Everything a professor should be. Extremely passionate about his material and highly accommodating and considerate of his students. Likewise he strives to challenge students and has made me a significantly stronger historian in my time at the university.
