Cross-listed with IDEA459. The Innovation Studio is a 3-credit course that brings students together from across disciplines in the performing and visual arts to design flexible, devised performance experiments. Students will collaborate with musicians from affiliated groups, including fellows in the National Orchestral Institute + Festival to devise a series of experiments for later implementation. Students will frame questions related to their creative interests, create prototypes that investigate those questions, document their process and learnings, and draw connections to their personal and professional interests.
