This course prepares students in Immersive Media and related fields to successfully transition from the classroom to internships, graduate school, and professional careers. Students will develop a polished portfolio, a professional resume, social media profiles, a personal brand, and career action plan while learning how to communicate the value of their interdisciplinary skills. Through portfolio critiques, employer presentations, informational interviews, and mock networking experiences, students build the confidence and professional skills needed to launch careers in immersive media, XR, game development, design, visualization, creative technology, and fine art careers.
